Beta 5 Server and Toon Info

We are playing as Tua on Seastone. To get in friend Kinya or Tolg and we will add you. Aneer will be on at launch, and I will be on 19:30 Eastern time. We will be on the vent server and available for questions and party as you get out of the noob zone. I will provide armour (metal gear) in exchange for your useless armour drops. I can salvage it for the next set then.

Kinya can make you glass cannon types and ranged healer types your wands/staves as well as pots if you require. We could use outfitters (cloth and leather armourers) and some weaponsmith's. Course a few more of everything would be fine to give us better coverage.

As the officers settle on a toon, they wil post so people know who else can add.

My guys name will be Zatheros, im deciding either Mage healer or Cleric healer, maybe cleric since i made a build now, the server is seastone you say, well anyways will talk on ventrilo on 25th to convirm things.


maybe you can check it for me since you played other beta and tell me if its good or bad and if its bad you can change some thing and post new build.

We will try to get on Seastone when Beta5 starts tomorrow, not for sure what we will be playing though. We should be on hopefully @ 5pm est or earlier.

Just a note "New For Beta 5

We're expecting Beta 5 to be at least twice as big as beta 4! By the end of Beta 4, we were running a total of 18 servers. 8 in our Europe datacenter and 10 in the US. This time we're opening up with 16 in each region, for a total of 32 servers, all with higher population caps, more than doubling the number of people who can be online at once."

I hope this means Seastone will not be full so we all can play together.

If seastone is packed we will decide a server and make new toons. Not really going to hurt my feelings that much, going cleric in that case.

So far server is down and unable to connect. And the forums keep coming up, and then they keep coming down. Pretty disappointing.

That sucks, Michelle and Solid are in and playing.

From what I can tell, I am glad to be at work right now, the beta servers are overloaded and it will take awhile to login and be able to play. Maybe in a few hours it will even out and be easier to login.

Solid & I managed to get in, we were on soon as they started so we didn't had the problem.
Made the guild, need 4 more to register it.
Been hard finding Solid, too many Footholds & Rift....kept getting distructed lol

So how is every one liking the game so far? One thing I have to stress is that yesterday was a big stress test for the servers and the game does not play as laggy/non responsive as it did last night at times. It is normally quite smooth even when theirs 50-100 people around you.

The stress test was a good one. Was on this morning with Kuri and it was smooth as silk, even during a full scale quest invasion. I am looking forward to getting back on tonight.

Currently there are 5 people that can add members in Rift Mike (Keila), Michelle (Kinya), Maug, Greg (Kuri), and myself (Tolg). Currently there is no guild bank so ranks are not really that important. For the new members Tua leadership is fluid, it depends on how active (RL, vacation's etc...), it has served us very well in the past.

Despite getting kicked off the server a half dozen times last night (2 of them self-inflicted, minimizing to change something in Vent) I had a great time and actualy picked up 2 lvls. The Reaver lure skill does not work as well as the Warlord one, so may switch points around a bit. Have 6 souls now for the warrior with beastmaster quest done and just have to cash it out. There is the PvP soul but they want 2500 gold, and after buying my mount I am down to 90 gold left. The collectors mount will be handy, save us some gold.

Can anyone tell I am bored at work?

Did 2 warfronts last night, finished the 10-19 warfront quests. We won one, and lost the next one. They both were fun, but hard with PUG groups if you have alot of low teens and the Defiants are mostly 15-19 it is heavily stacked against you. Fun going the other way though. You have to be quick, no one stands still to get hit, you have to target quickly. The xp from the warfront quests and winning was 15% of a lvl.

Late last night the server seemed fine for me. After they brought them down for that 30 minutes or so, everything ran fine. I ended up hitting level 13 and just got too tired and it was late.

Shortly before I logged off I was at a quest npc handing in quests I'd completed and I got the message that a defiant invasion was coming right for me. I was the only PC around standing amongst the npcs. It took like 15 minutes but I actually fought off the invasion and saved the wardstone. I felt like a total badass. LOL

I am digging the game and looking forward to seeing additional content. I haven't been to a warfront yet so that is something I look forward to doing before this beta ends. Anyway, I'll be on later to play a bit more and hopefully get close to level 20 today.

Wow, that sounded like a lot of fun and I am sorry I missed it. We hope to be later tonight for more than a few hours this time.

Did alot of warfront with Draven,Mega & Numeron today.... I had a blast.
Took a screen shot forgot to save it , one that I managed to save was when the rest of guildie logged out although took a ss of one of the guardian with us didn't had any gear on lmao.


I hour before I had to log out, I decided to try Warfront - The Codex since I have not tried that yet. It was soo much fun although was hoping to be doing it with guildies... need more lvl 20+ to roll with us in there

I have done the Codex on my toons from my original server (I had multi 20s there) and it was a lot of fun. I have been trying to get 3 classes up to test what I want to play at release so my highest so far is 14 but I have a warrior, cleric and mage and will be going between those till I figure what I like for release.
